The Birth of Blue: How is our soulful jewelry made?

You often ask me what goes on in the workshop before the finished jewelry reaches your hands. Today, I decided to lift the veil of secrecy and "dissect" one of my favorite pieces – the Larimar bracelet.
Stage 1: Selection of treasures from the Dominican Republic
It all begins with selection. Larimar is an extraordinary stone, mined in only one place in the world. Each piece has a different shade of blue, resembling frothy ocean waves. I spend long hours sorting the stones so that their shapes, clarity, and colors create a harmonious, coherent composition.
Stage 2: Foundation and crafting precision
The basis of this construction is durable jeweler's wire and precisely selected silver elements. As you can see in my "behind-the-scenes" photos, I use lobster clasps and extenders that allow the bracelet to perfectly fit the wrist.
Stage 3: Details that create magic
What you ultimately see as an intricate weave is the result of dozens of small steps. I use specialized tools to ensure every element is securely and aesthetically attached. The process involves:
- Silver beads,
- Decorative springs,
- And the smallest details, like ball-ended pins, which give the whole a refined finish.
Stage 4: Intention encased in stone
Behind every movement of the pliers lies a specific intention. As I string successive blue nuggets, I think of the peace and freedom that Larimar brings. I want the person who wears this bracelet to feel the ocean breeze and find their inner harmony.
Workshop secret: I won't reveal all the technical tricks (some assembly secrets must remain in the desk drawer! 😉), but I assure you – every millimeter of this jewelry has passed through my hands.
